Palomar celebrated the opening of its Auburn office with an official ribbon cutting supported by the Auburn Chamber of Commerce. The Airport Road location provides personal, commercial, employee benefits, and specialty insurance services, expanding Palomar’s ability to serve clients in the Auburn community.

Palomar Insurance relocated its corporate headquarters to 7480 Halcyon Pointe Drive in east Montgomery, Alabama. The new office environment is designed to support more effective, collaborative work while keeping Montgomery central to the agency’s history and its continued service to clients nationwide.
Austin Golson received Sentry Insurance’s Producer of Excellence award for transportation agents who demonstrate strong customer service and performance. During the observed period, he bound 46% of his quotes, produced $2.5 million in new direct written premium, and maintained 100% retention from 2021 through 2022.

Austin Golson received the Top 20 Under 40 Award from the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce. The award honors young professionals and their contributions to Prattville and Autauga County, recognizing Austin among community members making an impact in the area.
Palomar welcomed Michael Smith as an Account Executive specializing in transportation risk management. He helps clients assess risks and implement controls to reduce loss exposure, drawing on his transportation background and involvement with trucking associations in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina.

His business education, former U.S. Air Force service, safety leadership, and cyber insurance and data breach response expertise support clients assessing cyber risk and selecting loss control tools.
