Palomar Insurance recently hosted its first post-pandemic sales recognition meeting, celebrating significant milestones over the past 18 months. These include the appointment of CEO Jim Williford, office expansion into Auburn, AL, relocation of the Montgomery headquarters, and the addition of seven producers and 13 support staff.
The company marked its 70th anniversary as one of the Southeast’s oldest independent agencies, reinforcing its commitment to small businesses and personal relationships. The meeting honored top-performing producers by recognizing their outstanding performance, dedication, and teamwork with three special awards:
2024 Exceptional Producer Award: Terry Henley, Chris Hill, Todd Johnson, and Wesley Johnson
2024 President’s Award Winners: Austin Golson, Michael Smith, and Hank Strother
2024 Chairman’s Award Winner: Thomas Locklin

Guest speaker topics included implementing executive benefits strategies and risk management through captive insurance. The keynote speaker was Dr. Bhrett McCabe, a renowned performance consultant. Dr. McCabe emphasized the importance of a winning culture, engaging employees in a collective pursuit of success.
